New Jersey police issued an amber alert for a 2-year-old child taken by his father on Friday afternoon, but the alert was canceled at 7:30 p.m., authorities said Friday.
Adrian Tonge was taken by his non-custodial father, Brett Tonge, at 776 Westfield Avenue in Elizabeth, N.J., police said. Tonge took his son some time today after a domestic dispute, authorities said.
