An Amber Alert issued for a 9-year-old New York girl has been canceled, authorities said.
Sophia Salazar was found in good condition in the Beacon area. Authorities had issued the Amber Alert for her after they said she was abducted early Tuesday in Phillipstown by her mother, who suffers from bipolar disorder and is experiencing delusional episodes.
Police had said the girl's mother, 37-year-old Luisa Salazar, stopped taking her medication and they were concerned the child was in imminent danger.
