The Long Island Rail Road is operating on or close to schedule.

Earlier, there were delays going in and out of Penn Station due to an investigation involving two trains bumping into each other as they were departing Jamaica Station.

The railroad said a Port Jefferson train bumped a Babylon train as the trains were entering the Jamaica station at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Passengers on both trains were evacuated. Two people suffered minor injuries.

NYC Transit is cross honoring LIRR ticket holders on the E, F, J and Z trains.

The incident is under investigation.
