Police say a 31-year-old man who was riding an ATV in the Bronx Saturday evening died in a collision with an SUV.
Anthony Perez was riding an ATV on Broadway and 259th Street in Riverdale at around 5:30 p.m. when he collided with the driver of a Ford Explorer who was making a turn into a garage. Perez was severely injured and pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
The driver of the Ford Explorer stayed on the scene and is not expected to be charged, police said.
