Gunfire erupted at a house party in Brooklyn early Sunday morning, leaving five women and four men injured, authorities said.

According to police, the shots were fired at a house party in East Flatbush at around 1 a.m. following a dispute. None of the victims were struck more than once and are all expected to recover from the their injuries. The victims were transported to several different hospitals.

Officials say the condition of a woman previously listed as critical has improved, and she's now stable.

The shooting started after someone was either asked to leave the party or never allowed to enter, police said. It was unclear exactly how many people fired shots.

Police say no arrests have been made and no suspects identified.
