75-Year-Old Man Killed in Harlem Hit and Run

An 85-year-old man was killed Friday night in a hit and run accident in Harlem.

A 75-year-old man was killed by a hit and run driver in Harlem late Friday night, police said.

The man was crossing the intersection at Broadway and 114th Street at approximately 11:30 p.m. when he was struck by a black Honda civic driving north up the avenue. The driver fled the scene before police arrived, officials said.

Responding officers discovered the man lying on the ground with trauma to his body. He was transported to Saint Luke Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There have been no arrests in connection to this incident. An investigation is ongoing.
