Crippled 7 Train at Grand Central Mucks Up Service

A broken-down 7 train at Grand Central Terminal suspended service on the subway line between Queensboro Plaza and 34th Street-Hudson Yards for nearly an hour Wednesday, the MTA said.

The New York City Transit agency tweeted just after 9:30 a.m. that a train with mechanical problems was causing changes in service.

Service had resumed by about 10:30 a.m. with lingering delays.
