Subway service on the 7 has resumed with some delays after earlier signal problems halted service on a portion of the line in Queens.
The evening rush was complicated for 7 train commuters when the train stopped running between 74 Street-Broadway and Flushing-Main Street. Hundreds of frustrated subway riders packed onto a shuttle bus along Roosevelt Avenue to get home.
The MTA said a power outage near 90th Street and Elmhurst Avenue affected the signals, and officials are looking into whether a feeder cable caused the problem.
Service was restored at about 9:30 p.m. with some delays.
