Man Stabs 64-Year-Old Mother to Death in BK: Cops

Officials said he has a history of emotional issues

    A man was arrested after allegedly stabbing his 64-year-old mother to death in Brooklyn late Saturday.

    Richard Cohen, 31, called 911 just before 11 p.m. saying he had stabbed his mother. Police responded to their Ocean Avenue home in Kensington and found Cohen's mother, Anne Cohen, with multiple stab wounds to her torso.

    Emergency workers responded to the scene and transported the victim  to Community Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

    Police charged Richard Cohen with murder. Officials said he has a history of emotional issues. Information on an attorney wasn't available.

    An investigation is ongoing.
