A 58-year-old man was stabbed and killed in Brooklyn Thursday night, authorities said.
Police responded to a call of man stabbed inside an apartment at 1890 Ocean Avenue in Midwood just after 10 p.m. and found John Gillespie with a stab wound to his abdomen.
Gillespie was taken to a nearby hospital where officials said he was pronounced dead on arrival.
No word yet on what led to Gillespie's death, but a 38-year-old woman was taken into custody by police at the scene. Her relationship to Gillespie remains unclear.
