A 51-year-old died after a drunk driver in a pickup truck collided with the 51-year-old’s minivan on Long Island, authorities said.

The 51-year-old, You Feng Yang, was driving westbound on Route 48 in Greenport with six passengers on Sunday morning when the group collided with a pickup truck driven by Glenn Zaleski, 36, the Southold Town Police Department said.

Yang, a resident of Flushing, Queens, was pronounced dead at Stony Brook Hospital around 10:30 a.m., police said.

Yang’s six passengers — who ranged in age from 44 to 54 and were also from Flushing — suffered injuries including broken bones and severe bleeding, according to police.

Zaleski, of Greenport, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Police didn’t immediately release additional details about the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
