Police are looking for a suspect who slashed a subway rider across the face and neck during a robbery.

Police say the incident occurred on the East Burnside and Jerome avenues 4 train subway platform in the Bronx Saturday night.

They say the suspect approached the victim and removed his headphones from a bag. When the victim tried to grab them back, police say the suspect slashed him with a sharp object.

The suspect fled on a northbound 4 train.

The victim was treated at St. Barnabus Hospital and released.
