4 Men Sought in Violent Bronx Robbery: Police

Police are looking for four men in a violent robbery at a Bronx building last week.

Police say three men entered an apartment building in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx on May 18 at about 8:20 p.m. and approached a man and a woman, police said. They allegedly struck the 37-year-old man in the head with a gun and grabbed the woman, also 37, in an attempt to muffle her screams.

The suspects took the man’s money and cell phone and fled the scene in a dark blue Dodge Caravan with a fourth male suspect who had been acting as a lookout, police said.

Police released surveillance video of one of the suspects and another man who was inside the building hours before the robbery and is wanted for questioning. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
