8 Hurt in 4-Alarm Blaze in Queens

Eight people - six civilians and two firefighters - were injured in a four-alarm fire in Queens Wednesday, fire officials said.

The blaze broke out in a two-story private home on 90th Street in Woodhaven at around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Fire Department. Eight homes were damaged or destroyed when the fire spread, and more than 100 firefighters were called to the scene.

The injuries were minor, fire officials said.
