Three people were wounded when shots rang out on a Paterson street, not far from where a man had been gunned down the day before.
Authorities say it's not clear if the two shootings are related.
Saturday's shootings occurred around 12:45 a.m. at Park Avenue and East 18th Street. Authorities tell The Record that a man wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt approached the victims and started shooting, then fled on foot.
Officers responding to reports of shots fired found no victims, but soon learned the three victims had been driven to a hospital. Further details on their injuries were not disclosed.
On Friday, 33-year-old city resident Tashan Hall was killed at Carroll Street and 16th Avenue in a shooting that also left a woman wounded.
