23-Year-Old Man Killed in Staten Island House Fire

A 23-year-old man was killed in a house fire on Staten Island.

Police say firefighters found Jameek Champagne in the 3rd floor attic of a home on Osgood Avenue just after 5:30 a.m. Saturday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death was not immediately determined.

Fire officials did not say what caused the fire.

According the New York Post, Champagne leaves behind two young children.
