A 22-year-old man was fatally shot and a 39-year-old man was wounded when gunfire erupted in front of a bar on Long Island over the weekend, police say.
Nassau County police say the men were shot in front of the Love Jones Cafe in Baldwin around 3:30 a.m. Saturday. The 22-year-old man, Daquan Gaskin, was shot in the chest. He was pronounced dead at a hospital. Police say he lived in Maryland.
The 39-year-old man was shot in the leg; he was treated at a hospital and released.
No arrests have been made.
