Police say two men have been killed in separate shootings in Brooklyn Tuesday night.

The NYPD says the first shooting occurred around 9 p.m. Tuesday at the corner of Manhattan Avenue and Scholes Street in the Williamsburg section. Officers found a 28-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest.

He was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where he died. His name hasn't been released.

NYPD officials say the second shooting occurred about two hours later in Flatbush, where a 20-year-old man was shot in the torso at his home on Lott Street. He died after being taken to Kings County Hospital.

Police identified the victim Wednesday morning as Tyler Alphonso.

No arrests have been reported in either shooting.
