Two men who police say were catcalling a woman in Manhattan were viciously beat up by a man who was dating her, authorities say.

The two men began whistling in a sexual manner at the woman on Sherman Avenue in Inwood early Thursday, officials said. Then, the man, who is dating the woman, according to police, began punching the pair in the head and face.

Surveillance video shows the woman struggling to pull the man off the victims as he delivers the violent blows.

One of the victims, 69, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition, police said. The other victim, 39, was hospitalized with some bruises and is expected to be OK.

Investigators believe the man and woman are around 20 years old.

Police released surveillance images of them and ask anyone with information to call police.
