Police arrested two teenagers Saturday in connection with an alleged gang assault at a McDonald's restaurant in Brooklyn, authorities said.
Several young people attacked a 43-year-old man at the restaurant on Flatbush Avenue at about 2 p.m. Thursday when he attempted to stop a fight between two teenage girls, investigators said. One man urged the attackers to continue beating the victim by repeatedly screaming "kill him," police said.
The victim was taken to the Brooklyn Hospital Center where he was treated for bruises to his face, head and torso.
An 18-year-old Brooklyn man was charged with gang assault in connection with the beating, police said.
A 16-year-old Brooklyn girl was charged with assault in connection with the fight.
