2-Alarm Brooklyn Fire Leaves 8 Injured

A two-alarm fire in Brooklyn injured eight people, including two firefighters, early Friday morning.
   
The fire broke out in a three-story brownstone on Monroe Street in Bedford Stuyvesant at around 12:30 a.m., officials said. Flames were seen shooting out of the building's roof at one point.

It took firefighters about an hour to get the flames under control, authorities said.
   
Fire officials say all the injuries were minor. The fire’s cause remains unknown.
