16 Charged in East Harlem Gun Trafficking Case

The indictments were announced Friday

Authorities say 16 members of two East Harlem gun trafficking networks are charged with selling more than 100 illegal firearms, including assault weapons and machine guns.
 
The indictments were announced Friday by Mayor Michael Bloomberg, police Commissioner Raymond Kelly and Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr.
 
They say 10 of the guns came from South Carolina and one was from Virginia.
