One man is dead and another is injured after a shooting in Brooklyn Monday, police said.
The shooting happened at about 9 p.m. in the area of New Lots Avenue and Shepherd Avenue, according to police.
Officers found one man with a gunshot wound on his body and another 22-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the left arm, stomach and back. The two victims were taken to Brookdale hospital where the first man was pronounced dead. The 22-year-old man is in serious, but stable condition.
Police say they are looking for multiple suspects in the shooting. The identities of the victims was not immediately released.
