Yankees Post-Game Celebration Gets Bubbly in Chelsea

While manager Joe Girardi was busy saving lives in Westchester, his Yankee players partied it up, with a boozy post-game celebration downtown.

The Bombers got bombed on champagne at trendy hotspot 1OAK, as the bubbly flowed until dawn, according to the tabloids.

Alex, Rodriguez arrived at the Chelsea club at about 2:45 a.m. Thursday morning, bringing his girlfriend, actress Kate Hudson, her step-dad, actor Kurt Russell, as well as his own mother and sister, according to the Post.

Captain Derek Jeter meanwhile arrived a short time later with his stunning girlfriend, actress Minka Kelly, the Daily News reported.

Joba Chamberlain, CC Sabathia, Jorge Posada, Mark Teixeira and A.J. Burnett also partied at the club until at least 5 a.m.

Jeter and Sabathia drank Ace of Spades champagne, which is endorsed by Yankee booster Jay-Z, while Chamberlain was given a $30,000 bottle of Methuselah Champagne by the club, sources told the papers.

"The crowd was wild and emotional. Everyone was so euphoric and in such a celebratory mood," one party-goer told the Post. "It felt like it was New Year's Eve!"

Richie Akiva, who co-owns the club which has become a home for celebs like Diddy, and DiCaprio, even got on the mic and raised a toast to the Yanks, which drew huge cheers and applause.
