C'mon everybody, get that body going!

Boisterous fitness guru Richard Simmons is expected to get early bird shoppers moving as they gather for Black Friday deals at Macy's flagship store in Manhattan.

The peppy celebrity may have just the right kind of bubbly energy as retailers face down economic gloom and shoppers fret about how much money they can spend.

Macy's in Herald Square is set to open at 5 a.m. Friday to embrace buyers. The company has advertised morning specials on a range of merchandise including jewelry, appliances, and clothes for men and women.

Simmons rose to prominence with his hit television show and fitness videos that include "Sweatin; to the Oldies," "Dance Your Pants Off," and "Platinum Sweat."

He is also expected to hand out free samples.
