Snooki Returns to “Jersey Shore”

Ends strike day after "The Situation" reaches agreement

It seems like some members of MTV’s Jersey Shore could soon be back to G.T.L., late nights in the hot tub and partying.

At least two members of the "reality" cast have reached a new agreement with producers and are ready to return to work.

Snooki has reached a deal to return to Seaside Heights, N.J. to film the third season of MTV’s hit, according to TMZ.

The deal will pay Snookers “substantially more money than before,” a source told TMZ.

News of the Snooki deal comes a day after Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino reached an agreement to get paid more money to show off his abs on reality TV.

Snooki, the Situation and the rest of the tanned guys and gals of the Jersey Shore went on strike this weekend over how much they get paid per episode. They were no shows in Seaside Heights as they argued for more money than the $10,000 an episode they made for Season 2.

MTV released this statement about the stoppage:

"MTV is pleased that the Jersey Shore cast are returning to Seaside Heights to continue production on Season 3. Not only have they become a part of the MTV family, but fans worldwide have fallen in love with them. Stay tuned for ‘Jersey Shore’ Season 2 on July 29th."

NBCPhiladelphia.com cameras were in Seaside Heights Tuesday. The now infamous JS house was a flurry of activity as it appeared that crews were making final preps for the cast.

But there were no cast members pumping their fists.

Snooki, a.k.a Nicole Polizzi, planned on being back in front of the camera in a day or two, said TMZ.

It wasn’t clear if Vinny, Ronnie, JWoww and the rest would be back in the fold soon but with the preps being done to the house it's likely that filming will start soon.
