Service disruptions on the 7 train during recent weekends has tempers flaring in Queens, according to a published report.

Subway riders have to take a shuttle bus to Queensboro Plaza, then use the N train to get to Manhattan.

But that's not the only inconvenience, according to the story in Sunday's New York Daily News.

"The people who work here, the people who are trying to start businesses here [are suffering] greatly," Councilman Eric Gioia (D-Queens) told the Daily News.

Gioia led a rally in Hunters Point that some of those business owners also attended Sunday. They're calling for shuttle service directly to Manhattan.

An MTA spokesman told the paper that ferrying folks between Queens and Manhattan would be too expensive.
