A 15-year-old boy is the hands of psychiatric doctors after police caught him plotting to carry out a Columbine style attack at his high school.

A tip lead police to the boy's home in Monroe, NY.  There they found a crude home made machete, propane torches, bottles of gasoline and make shift fuses to create molotov cocktails.

Police said he was planning to attack his former school, Monroe-Woodbury High School, on April 20th, the anniversary of the Columbine attacks in Littleton, Colorado, and Adolf Hitler's birthday.  He even bought a long black trench coat that was recovered from his room.

The boy, who is not being identified because of his age, told police he was upset because he was bullied at school.  The planned  attack was an apparent attempt at revenge.

A home-made machete, a propane torch, molotov cocktails.. are some of the weapons police say a student was planning to use to stage an attack at Monroe-Woodbury High School.

Police say the teen's parents knew nothing of his homicidal plans and had no idea he was stockpiling weapons in his bedroom.  But police say the boy is known to them and has gotten in trouble before.  They have also seized computers and electronic devices from his room.  Police said the teen told them he was also actively seeking a military assault-style weapon that could hold as many rounds as possible.

Meanwhile students in town say they were scared by the news. Many said bullying is a hidden problem.
