Paterson to Hold Brooklyn Town Hall Meeting Monday

Governor will hear from residents at a meeting in Brooklyn

Governor David A. Paterson today announced that he will hold a budget town hall meeting in Brooklyn on Monday, March 8, to give the public an opportunity to discuss New York's 2010-11 budget and other issues surrounding the State's fiscal crisis.

"It is important that as I work through the budget process, I hear directly from New York's residents about their concerns and the challenges they face," Governor Paterson said. "I look forward to the meeting and working with New Yorkers to resolve the State's budget deficit."

The town hall meeting will take place at Brooklyn Borough Hall's Ceremonial Courtroom, 2nd Floor, 209 Joralemon Street on Monday, March 8. Doors will open at 10:00 AM, and the event will begin at 11:00 AM.
