It appears those hit hardest by the recent floods in New Jersey aren't taking the state's offer for financial assistance.
According to the Associated Press, New Jersey's office of the Small Business Administration's disaster assistance has only see approximately 250 request for flood aid.
Compare that number to the 6,300 applications the office has sent out to property and business owners.
Back in March, home and business owners were pounded by an unkind Nor' Easter.in several counties, including Passaic and Ocean.
A spokesperson for the SBA says the requests they have received have come from homeowners looking for loans with low interest.
