Adolfo Carrion is heading to the nation's capital.
After months of speculation, Carrion will leave his post as Bronx borough president for a plum gig on President Obama's team, Wednesday's Daily News reported.
Carrion is expected to be named director of the new White House Office on Urban Policy.
Carrion, who will report directly to Obama, will coordinate federal transportation and housing initiatives, the Daily News reported.
Some consider his appointment as a wink to the many Hispanic voters who helped Obama win last November's election, according to the report.
It's not known how much Carrion will earn, but it will probably be a nice payday.
