DiPascali's Property Up for Grabs

A Madoff employee's property will soon be for sale to the highest bidder.

Starting at 11 a.m. on Friday, items forfeited by Frank DiPascali will be auctioned off at the Morris County Public Safety Training Academy in New Jersey. The property for sale this week includes dining tables, chairs, couches, artwork, arcade-style games, rugs, and much more. See the video below for a preview of the items.

“All of these assets were seized by the U.S. Marshals Service in New Jersey. All proceeds will go to the Department of Justice Fund to benefit Madoff’s victims,” said James Plousis, U.S. Marshal for the District of New Jersey, in a statement.

DiPascali's case is being handled by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York. He was released on bail today as a result of an agreement he made with federal officials to provide information on Bernie Madoff's ponzi scheme.

The Department of Justice’s Asset Forfeiture Program currently deals with about 18,000 assets worth more than $1.98 billion.
