‘Dark Knight’ Up For Producers Guild Best Picture

The Batman blockbuster “The Dark Knight” is among the films competing for best-picture honors from the Producers Guild of America.

Other best-picture nominees Monday: “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” “Frost/Nixon,” “Milk” and “Slumdog Millionaire.”

The nominees for best animated feature are “Bolt,” “Kung Fu Panda” and “WALL-E.”

Contenders for TV comedy are “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Entourage,” “The Office, “30 Rock” and “Weeds.” The TV drama nominees are “Boston Legal,” “Damages,” “Dexter,” “Lost” and “Mad Men.”

Winners will be announced at a Jan. 24 ceremony in Hollywood.

Did it have an old stuffy actress like Meryl Streep in it? Was it 3 hours long or have a social message? In that case, it doesn't have a chance.
