Rick Warren is being interviewed by George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week.”

With the White House taking an Easter break, Army Gen. Ray Odierno and Pastor Rick Warren headline this Sunday’s talk shows.

Warren last appeared on the national stage delivering the invocation at President Barack Obama’s inauguration on Jan. 20. On this Easter Sunday, he’s being interviewed by George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week.”

Following up on Obama’s surprise visit to Iraq, Odierno, the top U.S. commander there, leads CNN’s “State of the Union” lineup. And host John King also lands Iraqi National Security Adviser Mowaffak al-Rubaie to discuss the drawdown of U.S. forces in Iraq.

Looking ahead to the president’s next foreign trip — to Mexico on Thursday — CBS’s “Face the Nation” has the Mexican ambassador to the United States, Arturo Sarukhan.

Elsewhere, the economy continues to hold sway. The hosts of NPR’s “Planet Money,” Adam Davidson and Alex Blumberg, lead a panel taking an in-depth look at the economy on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” Also appearing are NPR’s Michele Norris, the Washington Examiner’s Byron York, the Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg and public policy scholar Robin Wright.

Meanwhile, “Fox News Sunday” has Sens. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.) and Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) to assess the president’s handling of the economy, foreign policy and other myriad issues in the first three months of his presidency. And Fox names Washington Catholic Archbishop Donald Wuerl as its “Power Player of the Week.”

On C-SPAN, just in time for Tax Day on April 15, “Newsmakers” has IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman, who’ll be questioned by The Wall Street Journal’s John McKinnon and The Associated Press’s Stephen Ohlemacher.

Finally, on Bloomberg’s “Political Capital,” Al Hunt interviews Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.) and Afghanistan’s ambassador to the United States, Said Jawad.
