Gunfire erupted outside a baby shower for the wife of an actor on "The Wire" -- killing one teen and wounded two others in a hail of nearly 50 bullets, cops said.

The wife of actor Jamie Hector, who played drug lord Marlo Stanfield on the popular HBO crime series, was inside the Brooklyn party when gunfire erupted in East Flatbush, the New York Daily News reported.  And in a move that would have made Marlo proud, one of the gunmen followed his victim to the hospital and fired another shot at him to try and finish him off.

"What a gun battle," a police source told the Daily News. "They have been watching too much TV."

The Brooklyn native who starred in "Heroes," "Jericho" and "The Game," stopped by the baby shower at E. 93rd St. in Brooklyn for a period of time but it was unknown if he was at the shower when the gunplay began, according to the News

Cops found at least 46 shell casings in a half-block radius at E. 93rd St. and Avenue B.

"I jump out of bed and I hear, 'Pop, pop, pop, pop, pop," Margaret Joseph, who lives near the shooting scene, told the News.

Linton Williams, 17, died at the scene.

Victim Andrew Filso, 32, was trailed by gunman as he fled in a car to the Downstate Medical Center, where the gun toting perp opened fire and struck the injured man at least once. He was rushed by ambulance to Kings County Medical Center, a trauma hospital.

Walter Paker, 22, was hit in the leg outside the party. He waved down an ambulance and was taken to Brookdale University Hospital.
