Letter supported by Reid, Durbin

It's one vote Democrats agree on.

In a letter signed by all 50 U.S. Democratic senators Wednesday, Crain's is reporting they're calling on Gov. Rod Blagojevich to resign.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada is leading the charge, stating that "under no circumstances" should he appoint someone to fill the vacant Senate seat of President-elect Barack Obama.

"In light of your arrest yesterday on alleged federal corruption charges related to that Senate seat, any appointment by you would raise serious questions," said the letter, supported by Illinois' own second-ranking Democrat, Sen. Richard Durbin.
