Is Obama Trying To Maim His Entire Staff?

Injury curse haunts the White House

Note to the 350,000-odd people who thought they wanted to work for President Obama: do so at your peril.

A shocking number of Obama associates have suffered grave physical injury in just the past few months. First it was Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor, mysteriously breaking her ankle at an airport she'd flown out of dozens of times without incident. Then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton slipped and fell,  breaking her elbow, at the State Department as she was on her way to a meeting at the White House.

People laughed and said it was just a coincidence that President Obama's associates always seem to run into mishaps -- but the third time's a charm. Last night, Attorney General Eric Holder cracked a tooth, forcing him to undergo emergency oral surgery today:

Holder spokesman Matthew Miller said the attorney general cracked the tooth Wednesday night and went to a dentist in pain Thursday morning. Miller said the dentist told Holder the tooth needed to be removed right away.
Miller said Holder won't be able to fly for several days and he canceled an afternoon trip to Colorado. He was scheduled to appear at the Aspen Institute for a discussion with CBS "Face the Nation" host Bob Schieffer.

What devilish plot is President Obama pursuing by subjecting his compatriots to such terrible suffering? This kind of medieval sadism has no place in American democracy. We should all be very concerned that "The One" insists on nothing short of crippling displays of loyalty from his staff -- just imagine what he expects from the rest of us.
