CUNY Stamps Out Smoking on Campus

The Board of Trustees for the City University of New York are snuffing out smoking on campus.

Members of the board voted Tuesday to ban cigarette smoking at all CUNY campuses.

The move will expand upon a current rule at CUNY institutions that bans smoking inside buildings and campus vehicles.

The ban will be implemented over the course of 18 months and will start with designated smoking areas being set away from campus buildings.
