Greenwich Village Dentist Arrested on Child Porn, Drug Charges

A dentist in Greenwich Village has been arrested on child porn charges and investigators are questioning if any of his underage patients might have been abused or videotaped at his offices, NBC 4 New York has learned.

FBI, NYPD and DEA agents raided the offices of John Wolf, 59, on West 15th Street Friday morning. A criminal complaint alleges Wolf used that office as a place to view and distribute child pornography.

In recorded conversations with an FBI undercover agent, Wolf allegedly admitted he had child pornography and gave the agent a flash drive that had videos of children as young as toddlers being raped by adult men, among other pornographic media.

In addition to child porn allegations, Wolf is also facing narcotics distribution charges. Some of the allegations include giving free dental work to a drug dealer in exchange for a supply of crystal meth. He allegedly used some of the meth himself and distribute some to others, according to the complaint.

A call to Wolf's office seeking comment was not returned. His lawyer said outside Brooklyn court Friday that he and his client were looking into a case of possible government entrapment.
