Kanye West, The Weeknd, Chance the Rapper and Kygo will be headlining a new music festival in Queens this fall.

The inaugual Meadows Music and Arts Festival will be held Oct. 1 and 2 at the Citi Field complex in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, festival organizers announced.

The two-day festival comes from the same team behind the Governors Ball Music Festival, Founders Entertainment. It partnered with Metropolitcan Hospital, a subsidiary of the New York Mets, for the event launch.

The festival will host over 42 artists across four stages, including the headline performances from Kanye West, The Weeknd, Chance the Rapper and Kygo.

Other artists slated to perform include The 1975, Bryson Tiller, Grimes, Empire of the Sun, Chromeo, Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, Mac Miller and Cage the Elephant.

The festival will also feature different food vendors, various cuisines and craft cocktails.

"Launching the Meadows Festival in Queens this fall with an incredible lineup of music, art, food and culture is a dream come true," Founders Entertainment partner Tom Russell said in a press release. "As a native New Yorker I grew up in awe of the innovative spirit surrounding Flushing Meadows-Corona Park."

The Queens park had been eyed by a number of high-profile music festival organizers since at least last year, when the team behind Coachella pitched an East Coast version of the event at Flushing Meadows.

The parks department ultimately rejected the pitch from AEG, along with proposals for similar multi-day festivals from MSG and Founders, saying the park already hosts so many cultural and athletic events during the warm weather months.

Though the Citi Field complex is inside the park area, The Meadows is being held in the Citi Field parking area, a private and self-contained space, and did not need approval from the parks department.

Citi Field and Flushing Meadows Corona Park is accessed by the no. 7 subway train or by Long Island Rail Road in a 13-minute train ride from Penn Station.
