Lauryn Hill may have performed her final concert before going to jail for tax evasion.

Hill was sentenced to three months in prison for failing to pay taxes on $2.3 million in income over a five-year period.

Before the concert at the Williamsburg Hall of Music Tuesday night, Hill said on Twitter that she was performing to introduce her new single, "Neurotic Society Compulsory Mix," before it was too late.

Outside the Brooklyn venue, fans scoffed at rumors that the embattled singer song writer hastily planned the last-minute concert as a way to earn money for her family while she's away.

"I don't think the main reason she's doing this is to raise money, I think it's just to show her fans that she's still here," said Jenna Zabara. "She's still doing her thing even though she's going to jail."

Hill is to report to prison by July 8.
