Connecticut Couple Says “I Do” at Broadway's “It Shoulda Been You”

Connecticut couple Matt Harter, 28, and Jordan Reuck, 27, said their “I dos” Saturday afternoon at a very exciting venue: Broadway’s “It Shoulda Been You.”

The David Hyde Pierce-directed musical comedy, about the chaos that erupts on the day of a couple’s wedding, hosted the ceremony on stage at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre immediately following its May 30 matinee performance.

“I’ve dreamed of being married on a Broadway stage since I was 17,” said Reuck, a life-long Broadway fan, on the eve of her wedding day. “I can’t believe it’s actually happening.”

Harter and Reuck were joined by their parents, the full “Shoulda” cast, including Tony-winners Tyne Daly and Harriet Harris, and Pierce (seen below, with the Norwalk newlyweds).

Their wedding comes after a number of on-stage engagements at “It Shoulda Been You,” including Sam Bianco and Chelsea Leonard (April 22), Oleksandra Petryna and Nazariy Bobelyak (May 2) and A.J. Lorenzini and Jesse Salinas (May 22).

“It Shoulda Been You,” with an open-ended run at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, 256 W. 47th St. Tickets: $90-$139. Call Ticketmaster, 800-745-3000.
