Pickup Truck Crushes Stroller in Crosswalk, Kills Baby: Cops

A pickup truck making a right turn at a Queens intersection hit and killed a baby girl in her stroller Thursday night, police say. The baby's mother was pushing the stroller across 23rd Avenue in East Elmhurst when the truck turned from 94th Street and hit the stroller, police say.  The driver stayed on the scene. "We have been promising the American people that we will repeal and replace this broken law because it's collapsing and it's failing families. And tomorrow we're proceeding," Ryan tersely told reporters after scheduling what loomed as the most momentous vote to date for Trump and for the Wisconsin Republican's own speakership.
