“The Voice” To Add New Talent Coaches

Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levin apparently weren't star power enough.

Last Tuesday, "The Voice's" top-rated debut introduced the world to the concept of celebrity coaches, "blind auditions," and talent rosters. After Tuesday night's second round of auditions, the show moves into the "Battle" stage where the teams compete against one another.

In other words, it's a good time to call in some reinforcements.

Following the second round of "Blind Auditions" - singers perform for coaches Aguilera, Green, Shelton, and Levine sight unseen - and the selection of each coach's team members, "The Voice" will introduce high profile "coaches assistants" into the mix.

Aguilera will collaborate with singer/songwriter Sia, Levine with Maroon 5 Music Director Adam Blackstone, Cee Lo with singer Monica, and Shelton with veteran singer Reba McEntire, NBC announced in a press release.

The teams will then be pared in half though a series of dueling duets.
