Obama Could Crash Into “Lost” Premiere

War in the Middle East, the economy in crisis, health care for everyone, blah, blah, blah. Sure, these are the concerns of our time, but not when they are threatening one of the most sacrosanct moments of 2010: the premiere of "Lost."

President Obama's State of the Union address, previously scheduled for Jan. 26, is potentially being moved to Feb. 2 from 9-11pm, smack dab in the middle of the first show of the final season and their carefully calculated Groundhog Day premiere date.

Reportedly, the President is eyeing the move, which would preempt all other programming, in order to announce ratification of a new health care package bill. But fans of the show may find other matters more pressing. Like, if Juliet blew up the Island. If the white flashes that cause time travel are the same as the one the season ended with, meaning they’ve skipped through time yet again, possibly bringing them out of the 70s and back to the present. Is Locke is really dead? Was Jacob actually killed? Where is Claire? WHAT DO THE NUMBERS MEAN?

President Obama is too savvy to alienate his constituents, especially not the obsessive, rabid ones. We’re sure he’ll do the right thing.

Or we’re gonna unleash The Smoke Monster on him.
