Saturday Night Live” is bewitchingly good at political satire.

The latest installment shows "SNL" vanguard Kristen Wiig as conservative Senate hopeful Christine O’Donnell of Delaware, spoofing her recent “I’m Not A Witch” commercial.

The original commercial was a rebuttal to Bill Maher's proof that O’Donnell dabbled in witchcraft.

O’Donnell took the parody in good spirit, saying via Twitter, “SNL skit was really funny…and I have to admit, her hair looked better than mine.”

“I’m nothing like you heard,” Wiig opened, dressed as O’Donnell in a conservative blazer and pearls. The people of Delaware deserve a candidate who can say they’re not a witch, Wiig continued. “That’s the kind of candidate Delaware hasn’t had since 1692.”

The brouhaha continued, with Wiig implying her origins in Germany’s Black Forest to casting spell to win the election. “If elected to the human senate I promise to fly straight down to Washington,” Wiig said. “…on a plane, and do exactly what you would do…not cast spells!”

“I’m not a witch, but if I am, do you really want to cross me?” said Wiig, closing the skit with a menacing smile. The camera panned back to reveal her in typical witch getup, in striped tights and a tulle skirt, with a skeletal piano player and ominous-looking trees in the background.

This is just one of the political figures Wiig has spoofed over the years, the others ranging from Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Second Lady Lynne Cheney.
