Reality bites.

Network execs are pulling the plug on The Fox Reality channel, with 50 million homes at risk of losing their fix of “Temptation Island” and “Last Comic Standing” repeats as well as original fare like “American Idol Extra,” according to reports.

Fox Networks Group told channel staffers there would be no more original programming after March 31, but the channel may continue to air programs from the network’s library, The New York Times reports.

"With the changing cable landscape, we've made a strategic decision to shift some resources and refocus on emerging channels," Fox said in a statement.

"However, Fox Reality Channel will remain on our lineup for at least the next several months."
