NBC's new talent show "The Voice" just got a little dirrty.

Pop songstress Christina Aguilera has signed on to serve as a judge and mentor on the forthcoming reality show, reports Entertainment Weekly.

She joins Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine of Maroon 5 on the panel, giving the show a colorful cast as it prepares to face off with "American Idol."

"I am so excited to be part of such a wonderful project that celebrates music and the talent behind it. To be given the opportunity to help shape new artists' careers and mentor them to see their dreams come to fruition is a task I welcome with open arms," Aguilera said in a statement. "I am so happy to be working with fellow Grammy Award winners Adam and Cee Lo as I feel there is so much we can all bring to 'The Voice.'"

Show producer Mark Burnett, the man behind such reality-TV mainstays as "Survivor" and "The Apprentice," said that Aguilera "has a perfect voice" and the she was his first choice for a female coach for the show.

Given Xtina's recent public setbacks - she botched the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, fell on-stage at the Grammys, and was arrested for being drunk in public - her presence certainly becomes an x-factor for the new show, making it a something not to be missed when it airs April 26.
