Cops Find Weed, Heroin at Jadakiss' House

Rapper not wanted currently by cops

The rapper Jadakiss' life is imitating hip-hop.

Yonkers police raided an apartment leased to the lyricist and found 6.5 pounds of marijuana, 5 grams of heroin and about  $42,000 in cash, along with "other items."

Police were led to the home at One Van Der Donk Street after Housing Unit cops stopped a suspicious vehicle out front on Friday.

According to cops an investigation "revealed the presence of marijuana inside the vehicle."  The driver was arrested and a passenger was taken in after a short foot pursuit.

After obtaining a search warrant, cops checked the apartment and found all of the aforementioned goodies.

Alberto Lajara, 25, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of marijuana disorderly conduct.

Gabriel R. Henriquez, 39, was arrested for criminal possession of marijuana, assault, and obstructing governmental administration.

Jadakiss, whose real name is Jason Phillips, 34, was not present during the investigation, and is not presently wanted, cops said. But a law enforcement source said that since the investigation was still open, it remained unclear what would result.
