Tribeca Film Festival 2016: Need to Know Information

The 2016 Tribeca Film Festival kicks off on April 13 and runs through April 24.

The 15th annual celebration of moving images will feature 101 features and documentaries, 72 shorts, 77 world premieres, 42 directorial debuts, 40 talks, 23 virtual reality and interactive installations, and if all that is not enough to peak the interest of the most jaded cinephile, there's also a cast reunion of "Taxi Driver" to fete the film's 40th anniversary.

Spotlight movies (think marquee directors, star performers, big issues) include "All We Had" (directed by and starring Katie Holmes), "Custody" (Viola Davis), "The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea" (Jason Sudeikis, Jessica Biel, Maisie Williams), "Don't Think Twice" (Keegan-Michael Key), "A Hologram for the King" (Tom Hanks), "The Family Fang" (Christopher Walken), "The Meddler" (Susan Sarandon, Rose Byrne) and "Mr. Church" (Eddie Murphy).

Here, the facts you need to know before heading to the festival:
